Section
21.42.090 of the Campbell Municipal Code reads as follows:
Any approval granted under this section shall expire one year after
the date upon which such approval was granted, unless an extension
for such approval is obtained by making written application for same
to the Planning Commission at least fifteen (15) days prior to the
expiration date of such approval.
No building permit shall be issued after the expiration date of any
approval until a new approval has been obtained in the manner provided
for in this Chapter.

1.
Property to be fenced and landscaped as indicated and as added
in "red" on plans.
2.
Landscape plan indicating type of plant material, location of
hose bibs or sprinkler system and type of fencing to be submitted
for approval of the Planning Director at ti~e of application for
building permit.
3.
Landscaping shall be maintained in accordance with the approved
landscape plan.
4.
Faithful performance bond in the amount of $2000 to be posted
to insure landscaping, fencing and striping of parking area within
three (3) months of completion of construction, or applicant may
file written agreement to complete landscaping, fencing and striping
of parking area prior to final building department clearance.
5.
Trash container(s) of a size and quantity necessary to serve the
development shall be located in area(s) approved by the Fire De-
partment. Unless otherwise noted, enclosure(s) shall consist'of
a concrete floor surrounded by a solid wall or fence and have
self-closing doors of a size specified by the Fire Department.
The applicant is notified as part of this application that he is required
to meet the following conditions in accordance with Ordinances of the
City of Campbell.
A.
All parking and driveway areas to be developed in compliance with
section 21.50 of the Campbell Municipal Code. All parking spaces
to be provided with appropriate concrete curbs or bumper guards.
B.
Underground utilities to be provided as required by Section 20.16.070
of the Campbell Municipal Code.
C.
Plans submitted to the building department for plan check shall
indicate clearly the location of all connections for underground
utilities including water, sewer, electric, telephone and television
cables, etc.
D.
Sign application to be submitted in accordance with provisions of
the sign ordinance for all signs. No signs to be installed until
application is approved and permit issued b~ the Building Department.
E.
Ordinance No. 782 of the Campbell Municipal Code stipulates that
any contract for the collection and disposal of refuse, garbage,
wet garbage and rubbish produced within the limits of the City of
Campbell shall be made with Green Valley Disposal Company. This
requirement applies to all single family dwellings, multiple
apartment units, to all commercial, business, industr'ial, manu..
facturing, and construction establishments.

To Whom It May Concern:
The following excerpts for rights of way and restrictions are taken from
the right of way granted to San Jose Water Works for its Cambrian to
Hamilton Avenue transmission line:
"San Jose Water Works, party of the second part named in
the foregoing grant, hereby agrees that the same is accepted
by it and executed and delivered by the parties of the first
part named therein on the express conditions that the owners
of the lands through which the right of way therein described
runs reserve to themselves, and to their successors in
interest, subject to the rights therein granted to said party
of the second part, the right to use said right of way as a
private road or to dedicate the same as a public road and to
lay across said right of way I but not along it, at such depth
as may be required by said party of the second part, sewer
pipes, gas pipes and other conduits, said public roadway
to be surface with such road materials as may be specified
by the governing body constructing and maintaining the
same. "
"The parties of the first part hereby covenant and agree
neither to construct nor permit to be constructed any
building or other penn anent structure on, neither to drill nor
pennit to be drilled any sort of well within, and neither to
plant nor pennit to be planted any trees or shrubs within
said right of way. Said parties of the first part may, however,
install cross fences across said right of way, provided,
however, that the party of the second part shall have the right
to install gates in any and every such fence, to the extent
it may desire. "

The Company purchased the rights of way in 1939 and all grantors agreed
to the above on the basis of its being recited that the respective rights I
covenants and conditions herein contained shall inure to the benefit of
and bind the respective heirs I successors and assigns to the parties
hereto.
