Campbell Avenue Dear Ms. Alcover: The Community Development Director has conditionally approved your application for the removal of one Redwood tree with a diameter of 30-inches located at 400 W. Campbell Avenue in the P-F (Public Facilities) Zoning District, subject to the following condition of approval for tree replacement: 1. The applicant is required to plant one (1) 36-inch box Japanese Maple tree in the location specified by the approved replanting plan on or before June 27, 2005. The Tree Removal Permit has been approved based upon the City's determination, with a supporting recommendation by a Certified Arborist, that the tree is leaning over one of the main buildings and cannot be controlled or remedied through reasonable preservation and/or preventative procedures and practices such that the public health or safety requires its removal. This approval is final in 10 calendar days, unless an appeal is received in writing at the City of Campbell City Clerk's Office, 70 N. First Street, C~mpbell, on or before Friday, May 27, 2005 at 5:00 p.m. The tree may not be removed until after the 10-day appeal period has passed and no appeals have been received.
