Dear Mr. and Mrs. Lum:
The Community Development Director has approved your application for an Emergency Tree Removal
Permit to remove one Oak tree with a diameter of six-feet, one-inches, on property located at 435 Castro
Court in the R-I-6 (Single-Family Residential) Zoning District, subject to the following condition of
approval for tree replacement:
1. The applicant is required to plant one (1) 36-inch box Beech tree in the location specified by the
approved replanting plan on or before August 7, 2005.
The Emergency Tree Removal Permit has been approved based upon the fact that half of the Oak tree fell
onto the roof of the adjacent home and the remaining half posed an imminent danger of falling as well.
This approval is final in 10 calendar days, unless an appeal is received in writing at the City of Campbell
City Clerk's Office, 70 N. First Street, Campbell, on or before Thursday. July 7. 2005 at 5:00 p.m.

NOTICE OF TREE REMOVAL PERMIT APPLICATION
Notice is hereby given that the Community Deyelopment Director of the City of
Campbell has received an application for a Tree Removal Permit (PLN2005- 74), as a
result of an emergency tree removal, to remove one Oak tree with a diameter of six feet,
one inches, on property located at 435 Castro Court in the R-I-6 (Single-Family
Residential) Zoning District (see map on reverse).
Any comments regarding this application must be submitted to the Community
Development Department before 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 23, 2005. Questions or
comments regarding the tree removal may be addressed to Stephanie Willsey, Planner I,
