Dear Mr. Cisneros:
The Planning Division approved your signing request for a 36 square foot sign on October 25,
2002, based upon the submittal of a plan by your signing contractor. A copy of the approved sign
face is enclosed. The freestanding sign face that was installed is significant different than that
which was approved. The current sign face has a busy cluttered appearance with the business
number, operational hours and a description of the type of food. This sign would not have been
sapproved due to its cluttered appearance.
Please modify the sign so that it is consistent with the sign face approved per the enclosed plan.

Dear Mr. Higuchi:
The Planning Division has approved your signing request on behalf of E1 Grullense Restaurant
for a new wall sign reading 'El Grullense drive thru' measuring approximately 25 square feet
and a freestanding sign of 36 square feet on the referenced property. The proposed signing has
been approved subject to the following condition:
1) Applicant to secure any necessary building and or electrical permits from the Building
Division.
Two copies of the approved plan were provided to your staff at the Planning Division counter.
