BEING A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION
OF VALLEYDALE CONSTRUCTION COMPANY,
INCORPORATED AGREEMENT.
WHEREAS, there has been submitted to the City Council
by Valleydale Construction Company, Incorporated an agreement
for the development of their real property in accordance with
prescribed conditions; and,
WHEREAS, by the terms of said agreement, and
concurrently herewith they have submitted grant deeds of
certain portions of their property for street purposes;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
that the Mayor be and he is hereby authorized to execute
the said agreement on behalf of said City; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the grant deed submitted
in connection therewith be and the same is hereby accepted.

W~EREAS, the City Council of the City of Campbell finds and
determines that a certain portion of the westerly side of Fourth
Street between Sanford Avenue and Campbell Avenue, a public
street in the City of Campbell, the description of which, together
with a plat thereof, is on file in the office of the City Clerk
of the City of Campbell, at City Hall 75 North Central Avenue,
Campbell, California, is not necessary for present or for
prospective public street purposes; and
WH~2tEAS, the City Council of the City of Campbell finds and
determines that it is in the best interest and for the betterment
of the general welfare of the citizens of the City of Campbell and
of the public at large that said portion of S3/nnyc=-ks 4~nue be
vacated; and
WHEREJ~S, the City Council of the City of Campbell does hereby
elect to proceed in accordance with the provisions of Division 9,
Part 3, Chapters 1, 2, and 3 of the Streets and Highways Code of
the State of California:
NOW~ THEREFORE~ T~IE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL DOES
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section One: That it is the intention of the City Council of
the City of Campbell to vacate, abandon, and close to public use a
certain portion of the westerly side of Fourth Street between
Sanford Avenue and Campbell Avenue, being a public street in said
city, a description of which, together with a plat thereof, is on
file in the office of the City Clerk of the City of Campbell, at

R. V. Grant
Application of R. V. Grant for approval of a public
parking lot on property located at northwest corner
of South Fourth Street and Sanford Avenue.
Applicant intends to develop this vacant lot into a parking facility
of thirty-four spaces which will be available to the public for
lease or hourly rental.
As shown on the attached plan, all spaces are 9' x 20'; however,
the backup area is 24' {2S' required) and will require Planning
Commission approval.
Staff recommends that the following conditions be attached to approval
of these plans:
Landscaping to be provided as shown on approved plan. Adequate
watering system to all landscaped areas to be provided.
Landscape plan, indicating type of plant materials to be used
and plans for watering system to be submitted for approval of
Planning Director at time of application for Building Permit.
Faithful Performance Bond in the amount of $S00.00 to be posted
to insure landscaping and striping of parking area within
three (3) months of completion of construction, or applicant
may file agreement to complete landscaping prior to final
Building Department clearance.
An enclosure, consisting of a concrete floor surrounded by a
6' high solid wall or fence shall be constructed to house
trash container in a location approved by Planning Director
and Fire Department.
The applicant is notified as part of this application that he is
required to meet the following additional conditions in accordance
with Ordinances of the City of Campbell:
Parking facility to be constructed in accordance with Section
9319 of the Campbell Municipal Code.
Dedication and improvement of frontage on Sanford Avenue and
Fourth Street.
7. Storm Drain Area Fee in the amount of $25S.00.
Construction of underground facilities as required by Section
9110.6 of the Campb~l Municipal Code.
The applicant is also notified that he shall comply with all other
applicable Codes or Ordinances of the City of Campbell which pertain
to this development and are not herein specified.
