The lot size of 8,370 square feet would not permit a Secondary Dwelling Unit under the
current zoning requirement of 12,000 square feet minimum lot size.
A Building Permit was issued on June 1, 1954 by Santa Clara County (Permit No. 37800) to
allow the conversion of a garage to "living quarters" totaling 520 square feet.
The existing Secondary Dwelling Unit is considered by the City of Campbell to be a legal,
non-conforming use and building and is subject to the requirements of the Non-Conforming
Buildings and Uses section of the Municipal Code (21.64 and 21.66).
