Tank Installation - 2001 CITY oF CAMPBELL Community Development Department - Current Planning September 13,2001 Habitec Architecture and Planning 255 N Market St., Suite 220 San Jose, CA 95110 Subject: 900 Dell Avenue - A Tool Shed Propane Tank Installation Dear Applicant, Thank you for your preliminary submittal for the proposed installation of a 499 gallon propane tank on the subject property. The original site approval allowed the placement of a propane tank on this property in front of the rental office and the current proposal is considered a relocation of this tank approval. Current development standards require that outdoor storage facilities and storage areas be screened by site obscuring fences. This site was granted an exception to this requirement based upon the installation of landscaping around the perimeter of the site that would effectively screen the storage area and rental yard. Prior to the issuance of permits for this tank installation, the Planning Division will require the submittal of a landscaping and screening plan to achieve this screening objective. Additionally, it is anticipated that appropriate irrigation and maintenance provisions will be in place to ensure the establishment and maintenance of these landscaping areas. It is also anticipated that a sight obscuring fence will be required directly adjacent to the tank installation towards the expressway.
