Dear Ms. Fertig:
The Community Development Department has reviewed your application for a fence exception for the
north and west sides of your property. It has been determined that the requested fence exception will
not impair vehicular or pedestrian safety; a more desirable site layout will result; it will not be
detrimental to the health, safety, peace, morals, comfort or general welfare of the City and it will not be
detrimental or injurious to property and improvements in the neighborhood or to the general welfare of
the City.
Therefore, your request for a seven-foot high fence with a one foot lattice has been approved. The
fence exception is granted for the above referenced address, and it is understood that this approval is for
the north and west portions of the fence only. The fence between your property at 1065 Fewtrell and
the property at 1077 Fewtrell will be no higher than six (6) feet. You should obtain all necessary
building permits from the Campbell Building Division for the portions of the fence over six feet.
A copy of the approved plans is enclosed. If you should have any other questions regarding this matter,

Dear Sirs,
This letter is to explain why I am requesting a Fence Exception. The
Fence will be a total of 8 ft. tall which includes1 ft. tall lattice ( 7ft. tall
fence w/1 ft. tall lattice). This fence is not only going to bring a little
more privacy but it will also help to deter people from the Tower
Records' parking lot (rear of property) and daycare (west side of
property) from throwing rubbish, garbage and misc. items into my
yard which has been an ongoing problem. These are the main reasons
for my request of the Fence Exception.
