Dear Mr. Sung:
Aaron and I spent yesterday morning meeting at Campbell City Hall
with Ms. Sharon Fierro, Senior Planner, and Ms. Aki Irani, Planner
I. Ms. Fierro said we will have to redo the pylon sign, since we
are not having a new facade. The new sign must be architectually
compatible with the existing shingle roof. Now that the rain has
ended, we are in the process of having the shingles restained.
The Planners suggest that you fax them the revised drawings and
measurements for their preliminary approval and/or changes. Also,
Ms. Fierro felt that the digital clock should be omitted as it may
prove a distraction to motorists, and could cause accidents.
Would you kindly mail to me your best estimates as to what the new
sign construction costs would be? We would like to finish the sign
work before the repairing of the co~on area to avoid digging into
the new pavement for possible underground electrical rewiring. The
City Planners' names, address, phone and Fax numbers are enclosed.
