Re: Zoning Verification and Rebuilt Policy
920 S. San Tomas Aquino Rd.
APN: 406 06 007
Dear Ms. Doh:
In response to your facsimile of June 19, 2003 requesting a building rebuild letter regarding the
referenced property please be advised of the following:
The property at 920 South San Tomas Aquino Road is presently zoned P-D (Planned
Development) and is shown on the General Plan as a Neighborhood Commercial land use
designation. The existing residence on the property would be considered a non-conforming
building and use based upon the Zoning and the General Plan.
As such, section 21.64.050 of the Campbell Municipal code would govern its replacement due to
fire or damage. This provision limits restoration to seventy-five percent of the cost of
construction of a comparable new building as determined by the Building Official. A copy of this
section is enclosed for your information.
Please do not hesitate to contact me at (408) 866-2142 if you should have any questions
regarding this information.
