Re: PLN2000-117 -- Tree Removal Permit -- 1021 Lenor Way
Dear Mr. Porrovecchio:
This letter is written in response to your conversation this morning with the Planning
Secretary, Corinne Shinn, regarding the Tree Removal Permit (PLN2000-117) to remove
an Oak tree from your property located at 1021 Lenor Way. The Tree Removal Permit
was approved on September 18, 2000, contingent upon a 1 O-day appeal period, which
ended on Thursday, September 28, 2000, without any appeals being received by the City.
The only Condition of Approval imposed was that you replace the removed tree with a
24-inch box tree within 30 days of the letter or by October 18, 2000.
Since you thought that you needed to hear again from staff prior to removing the Oak tree
and, therefore have not yet removed the tree, you will be considered in compliance with
the Conditions of Approval as long as you install your replacement tree no later than 30
days following the removal of the existing Oak tree.
If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact the Planning Department at (408)
866-2140.
Sincerely,,,,/,-

RE: Tree Removal Permit (PLN 2000-117) - 1021 Lenor Way
Dear Mr. Applicant:
The Community Development Director has conditionally approved your application for
a Tree Removal Permit (PLN 2000-117) to remove one (1) Oak tree currently located
on the right side of the above-mentioned property, subject to the following condition:
1. One (1) 24-inch box tree will be planted in place of the Oak tree within 30 days of
this letter, per the Tree Protection Ordinance.
It is recommended that the tree be removed by persons who are experienced and
bonded for the removal of trees and that the stump be ground out and the roots
removed so there will not be re-growth of the Oak tree.
The Tree Removal Permit has been approved based upon the photographs you
submitted that reveled that tree is against foundation, causing cracks and big branches
are over this & neighbor's house. Staff has determined that the situation cannot be
remedied by means other than removal.
This approval is final in 10 days, unless an appeal is received in writing at the City of
Campbell City Clerk's Office, 70 N. First Street, Campbell, on or before Thursday,
September 28, 2000. No trees may be removed until after the 1 O-day appeal period has
passed and no appeals have been received within this time period.
Should you have any questions regarding the above referenced matter, please do not
hesitate to contact me at the Community Development Department at (408) 866-2140.
Sincerely,
Munawarjit Kaur
