Tree Removal Permit - 2005November 28, 2005 Chateaux Forest Homeowners Association c/o: Judy Robinson 1935 Dry Creek Road #203 Campbell, CA 95008 Re: Tree Removal Permit File No: PLN2005-150 139-191 Redding Road Dear Ms. Robinson: The Community Development Director has approved your Tree Removal Permit application to remove one Oak tree with a diameter of 24-inches, located in the common lot in between units 163 and 165 Redding Road in the P-D (Planned Development) Zoning District, subject to the following condition of approval for tree replacement: I. The applicant is required to plant one (I) 24-inch box Crepe Myrtle tree in the location specified by the approved replanting plan on or before January 8, 2006. The Tree Removal Permit has been approved based upon the City's determination, with a supporting recommendation by a Certified Arborist, that the tree is located in a small planter area between two buildings and is an inadequate area to accommodate a large Oak tree, which cannot be controlled or remedied through reasonable relocation or modification of the structures. This approval is final in 10 calendar days, unless an appeal is received in writing at the City of Campbell City Clerk's Office, 70 N. First Street, Campbell, on or before Thursday. December 8. 2005 at 5 :00 p.m. A written appeal must be accompanied with payment for appealing the approval. The tree may not be removed until after the 10-day appeal period has passed and no appeals have been recei ved. Your application has been deemed incomplete. The following additional information IS required to complete your application: 1. Site Plan: Provide a site plan which shows the location of the tree to be removed and the location and species of the 24-inch box replacement tree. The Tree Protection Ordinance requires replacement trees for protected trees that are removed. You are required to plant one 24-inch box replacement tree on the property.
