We will soon begin construction of the Washington Family home which is
adjacent to your property. In the course of construction we need to "legalize" the
existing 7'-0" high redwood fence along the common property line between your home
and their residence.
This letter revises an earlier transmittal dated February 9, 2002 which was sent
to your residence for your approval.
Please review the enclosed letter dated February 21, 2002 from the planning
department of the City of Campbell for additional details.
You may give me a call at (408) 377-2500 with any additional questions you
may have.
We as the adjoining property owner approve of the legalization of the existing
7'-0" high redwood fence in our backyard.

Fence Exception
1079 West Parr Avenue, Campbell
Darcy,
Per a request from our clients Ed and Sharlene Washington we are requesting
an fence exception from the 6'-0" height limit to a maximum of 7'-0" as shown on the
enclosed fence layout plan.
The reason for the 12" increase in height is that the property owners anticipate
the future construction of a swimming pool and spa in their backyard and want to
provide an additional level of safety and security for this area. If acceptable to the city
this fence work will be installed during the period of time we are constructing their new
home.
Should you have any additional questions please feel free to contact me
personally at (408) 377-2500.
N in advance for your help,
