I have examined the prelim attached to the application
and also obtained a deed which also describes the 25'
easement. As far as I can tell the 25' strip is good for
Raiche to use as ingress and egress and for installing
public utilities but it is not good for public travel or
installation of our public)utilities. It's private property
and Raiche just has an easement to use it. Since it's
private property, Raiche would have to install whatever
utilities he would need all by himself all the way from
McGlincey Lane.

RESOLUTION #831
BEING A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
APPROVING USE PERMIT OF GEORGE A. RAICHE
WHEREAS Public Hearing has been held in the manner pre-
scribed by law on the application of George A. Raiche for Use Permit
to allow the change of use of a non-conforming building, i.e'l use
of a residential building in a M-I-S zone on property known as
559 McGlincey Lane, from a roofing company operation to a pest
control operation, and
WHEREAS after oral presentation by the Planning Director,
proponents and opponents. the hearing was closed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning Commission
of the City of Campbell hereby approves the requested Use Permit
subject to' the following conditions:
1. The use of this residential buildin3 as a non-conforming
use shall terminate on or before January 1, 1970, or upon change of
occupancy whichever occurs first, and the building shall not be con-
sidered as being a non-cunforming use by, or for any other purpose,
occupant or O\iner.
2. A Faithful Performance Bond in the amount of $3,000
shall be posted to insure the abandonment and removal or demolition
of this building from this property.
3. The repair of fencing and any landscaping shall be
approved by the Planning Director.
4. A Title Search shall be provided indicating that access
over the easement is satisfactory to the Engineering Department and
Planning Director.
Use Permit to become valid January 12, 1968.
