Section 9316.1 of the Campbell Municipal Code reads as follows:
Any approval granted under this section shall expire one hundred eighty
(lB0) day~ sf tAr the date upon which such approval was granted. unles~
an extension for such approval is obtained by making written application
for same to the Planning CommisC"ion at least fifteen (15) days prior to
the expiration date of such approval.
No building permit shall be issued after the expiration date of any
approval until a new approval has been obtained in the manner provided
for in this chapter.

Application of James L. Thompson for "S" approval
of service station on property located on the
northwest corner of Marathon Drive and Hamilton
Avenue. (See Map H2 attached.)
This proposed service station is a part of the P-D development approved
on the Pruvich property (Ord. #551, adopted by Council on 25 July 1966.)
Staff recommends approval, subject to the following conditions:
ORDINANCE
1. Conformance to Section 9126 of the Campbell Municipal Code,
including:
a. Dedication of half-street for west side of Marathon Drive
b. Full street improvements for Marathon Drive frontage
c. 10' commercial sidewalk to be constructed on Hamilton
Avenue frontage.
d. Storm Drainage fee in amount of $395.00.
2. Construction shall be of incombustible or one (1) hour fire
restriction construction including waIls, roofs and canopies.
3. Compliance with Section 9110.6 of the Campbell Municipal Code
regulating underground utilities.
RECm,1MENDATIONS
4. Service station design to be compatible with remainder of
Shopping Center complex.
5. Landscaping and fencing to be provided as shmvn and as added
in "red" on plan.
6. Faithful Performance Bond in amount of $1,500 to be posted to
insure landscaping and fencing within three months of completion
of service station construction.
7. Signs approved as submitted with free-standing pole sign to be
a maximum of 35'.
8. Area to be developed in compliance with Section 9319 of the
Campbell Municipal Code.

COMHENCING at the intersection of the Easterly line of that
certain 24.305 acre parcel of land, as described in the Deed from
Joseph Conctto, et ux, to Vlaho Pruvich, et ll..X, dated July 21, 1952
recorded in the office of the Recorder of the County of Santa Clara,
state of California, on July 21, 1952, in Book 2454 of Official
Records, at page 625, with the Northerly line of Hamilton Avenue,
as established by the Deed to the City of Campbell, a municipal
corporation, recorded October 28, 1964, in Book 6718 of Official
Rccords, at page 711, Santa Clara County Records; thence along the
Northerly line of said IIamilton Avenue, South 88059'4:4" Wcst, 49.97
feet to the TRUE POINT OF BEGI:N'NING of this description; thence fl'om
said true point of beginning and continuing along the Northerly line
of said Hamilton Avenue, South 88059 ,,!.1" Hest, 130.03 feet to a point
thereon; thence leaving last said line and parallel with the Easterly
line of said 24.305 acre parcel of land, North 0055'20" Wcst, 150.00
feet to a point; thcnce parallel with the Northerly line of said
Hamilton Avenue, North 88059'4L1" East, 150.00 feet to a point all a
line which is parallel with and distant Hesterly, at right angles,
30.00 feet from the Easterly linc of said 24.305 acre parcel of land;
thence along last said parallel line, South 0055'20" East, 130.03
feet to the bcginning of a tangent curve to the right; thence along
last said curve, with a radius of 20.00 feet, through a contr~l
angle of 89055'04", for an arc distance of 31.39 feet to the TRUE POINT
OF BEGINNING.
