Will not impair vehicular or pedestrian safety; 2. Will result in a more desirable site layout from a maintenance and use standpoint; 3. Will not be detrimental to the health, safety, peace, morals, comfort or general welfare of the City; and 4. Will not be detrimental or injurious to property and improvements in the neighborhood or to the general welfare of the City. Therefore, your request for a Fence Exception has been approved. The Fence Exception is granted for the side (western) and rear (southern) property line, subject to the following conditions of approval: 1. The applicant shall obtain a building permit from the Campbell Building Division. The fence shall not exceed seven (7) feet six (6) inches in height. The approved design consists of a six (6) foot high board on board "good neighbor" wood fence with one (1) foot six (6) inches of lattice on top. 3. GENERAL CONTRACTOR Commercial and Residential A minority owned company To: Planning Director City of Campbell State Lic 8O967O June 12, 2003 We are requesting fence exception for the height of the fence dividing the properties between 158 Sunnyside and 134 Sunnyside Ave. The current owner of 134 is requesting that the current fence remain as it was prior to construction of the new home on 158 Sunnyside. The existing fence was S'O" the new fence is 7'&". Since the homes are very close to each other he is intend on maintaining his privacy from the new neighbors as he agreed to the new home plans that were approved by the City of Campbell. The backside of the fence borders the back alley and an existing auto shop that can be seen from the lower level living area of the new home and thus offers little privacy to the new homebuyers. In the best interest of all the neighboring properties it is best that the fence be allowed to remain, as it is currently build 7' ¢'. The neighbors of the adjacent properties are in agreement as you can see by the letters they have provided. We will comply with decision and ail instructions that you request. The back of our facility faces the back of the house with the fence. It is a good separation from the house to the alley.
