As per your suggestion I contacted Mr. Gary Kruger and had Gary explain to me in detail the method of calculating the amount of our contribution. Based on Gary's calculations the 8 unit project will add four trips into the intersection and on that basis our pro-rata share of the cost of the signal is 5% of $140,000.00. However, I pointed out that there is presently 3 single family homes on the properties. Mr. Gary Kruger agreed that the pro-rata share should be based on the Net increase in traffic density into the intersection and that he will recalculate our pro-rata share. He indicated that the cost to us would be substantially reduced.
