Dear Mr. Faulconer:
The Planning Division has reviewed your sign application (PLN2001-00079) for the legalization of one existing
wall sign for Renson Automotive Inc. at the above referenced address. Under the Sign Ordinance, a commercial or
industrial use is allowed one wall sign per business. A search of records and a site inspection of the subject property
revealed that a sign for Renson Automotive was approved on January 21, 1991 for a wall sign and was installed on
the west side of the building.
The installation of a second sign without a sign permit is considered a violation of the Campbell Municipal Code
and needs to be remedied immediately. It is up to you to decide how you would like to proceed. However, by
Friday, August 10, 2001, one of two things needs to occur:
1. Remove the previously approved sign from the west side of the building and proceed with the sign
application as proposed; or
2. Remove the unpermitted sign from the front of the building.
