Dear Ms. Kocal:
Based upon our meeting of this date your request for a freestanding sign has been conditionally approved.
The Planning Division has conditionally approved your sign application (PLN2002-57) in for a new freestanding
sign at 2265 S. Winchester Blvd. This sign is a double faced freestanding with a 32 square-foot sign face reading
Dan Garza, Press Relations, www.drpr-inc.com, and business address with an architecturally compatible sign
structure.
The applicant shall submit a more detailed sign plan to the Building Division depicting the following:
a. The sign post and trim color to match the building trim color;
b. The area under the sign gable shall be wood siding to match the wood siding of the building;
c.. The sign gable shall utilize a tile roof material; and
d. The sign face is restricted to 4' x 8'.
The plot plan depicts a 3 foot setback to the street property line for the proposed sign.
A planter area of 13' x 2.5 feet shall be provided at the base of the sign providing protection from vehicles and
introducing landscaping along the street frontage. A landscape and irrigation plan shall be submitted depicting
the proposed planting, method of irrigation and planter details at the time of Building Division submittals
4. The existing freestanding sign shall be removed at the southerly planting area.
5. The proposed sign shall not be illuminated.
6. Prior to the construction or installation of the sign, the applicant shall obtain building permits from the

Dear Ms. Kocal:
The Planning Division has conditionally approved your sign application (PLN2002-57) in concept for a new
freestanding sign at 2265 S. Winchester Blvd. This sign is a double faced freestanding with a 32 square-foot sign
face reading Dan Garza, Press Relations, www.drpr-inc.com, and business address with an architecturally
compatible sign structure. More detailed plans need to be submitted:
The applicant shall submit a more detailed sign plan to the Planning Division and Building Division depicting
the following:
a. The sign post and trim color to match the building trim color;
b. The area under the sign gable shall be wood siding to match the wood siding of the building;
c. The sign gable shall utilize a tile roof material;
d. The total height of the sign and support structure shall be 9 feet;
e. The colors of the proposed lettering as well as the sign background shall be shown; and
f. The sign face is restricted to 4' x 8'.
A revised scaled plot plan shall be submitted depicting a 3 ' setback to the street property line for the proposed
sign. A planter area shall be provided at the baseof the signing providing protection from vehicles and
introducing landscaping along the street frontage. A landscape and irrigation plan shall be submitted depicting
the proposed planting, method of irrigation and planter details.
