Attention Mr. Richard L. Schneider
Planner II
Dear Mr. Kee:
We have rp~ewed the site plan for a warehouse addition, your
file~78-28 adjacent to a McGlincey Percolation System Pond,
which we received with your letter of July 21.
This site is within the Los Gatos Creek watershed and would not
be subject to flooding in the event of a 1% flood flow.
In accordance with District Ordinance 75-6, the owner should show
any existing welles) on the plans and inform us regarding their
proposed use. Please contact Mr. Zozaya at 299-2454 for informa-
tion about well permits.
The proposed warehouse addition is away from our pond and should
not directly affect it. The following additional comments apply
for any work near the pond.
Because it can affect the operation and maintenance of the perco-
lation pond, we request that grading adjacent to the right of way
be done in accordance with the enclosed sheets 20-20B. The
details of the grading should include cross-sectional views at
the right of way and should be shown on the improvement plans.
No overbank or other drainage can be allowed into the percolation
ponds.
Please have the developer show the District's existing chain link
fencing around the percolation pond on the improvement plans.
It should be specified that it is to be maintained in place and
that if any fencing is damaged from construction, it is to be
replaced in kind and in accordance with Section 80 of the State
of California specifications.
