The Traffic Engineeri~g Division of our Public Works Department has raised
a concern regarding the traffic control measures proposed for the on-site
circulation of your project. More specifically, a concern has been raised
regarding the need to install stop signs adjacent to the main entry driveway
from the Winchester Boulevard frontage, just south of the Budd Avenue
intersection. It might be helpful if your office, as well as Eddy Shen's office,
could review the issue of on-site circulation and recommend any necessary
traffic control markings or signage.

It has come to our attention that there is a potential hazard at
the first end islands (north & south side) along the main roadway
delineation located 75 feet west of Winchester Blvd. south of Budd
Ave. We estimate approximately 300 vph will be generated when the
safeway superstore is completed and therefore cause possible
broadside accidents. We recommend that stop signs be posted at
both end islands for the northbound and southbound approach traffic
onto the main roadway.

The Planning Director and Public Works Director have approved the
referenced Tentative Parcel Map based upon the mandatory finding that this
Tentative Parcel Map, together with the provisions for its design and
improvement, is consistent with the General Plan of the City of Campbell.
The final map shall be filed with the City Engineer for examination, approval
and recordation, in accordance with the provision of the Subdivision Map
Act.
This approval is subject to the following Conditions:
1. Process and file a parcel map to create the three lots.
2 Property line wall shall meet UBC Standards for building built on
property line.
3. Deeded agreement should be filed on fire line easement for Parcel
No.2, or new fire lane will be required to be installed for sprinkler
system.
