Please be advised that the Planning Commission, at the regularly
scheduled meeting of June 6, 1978, approved your plans for Phase II
of the subject skateboard park.
This approval was subject to the following conditions:
1. Applicant to submit revised landscape plan for
the entire park prior to construction of Phase II.
2. Landscaping to be installed within 30 days of
app rova 1 .

Dear Mr. Kee:
We have reviewed the site plan for a proposed skateboard park on
Winchester Avenue, Assessor's Parcel No. 405-26-44, sent to us
on September 1, 1977.
The site's westerly property line is adjacent to pond 6 of the
District's Page Percolation area. We request that grading adja-
cent to the Santa Clara Valley Water District right of way be
done in accordance with the enclosed Sheets 20-20B. The details
of the grading should include the cross-sectional view at the
right of way and should be done on the improvement plans.
Site drainage should be directed into an existing storm drainage
system. Drainage into the percolation pond cannot be allowed.
The proposed chain link fence adjacent to the pond should be
entirely outside Santa Clara Valley Water District right of way.
Please show details accordingly.
In accordance with District Ordinance 75-6, the owner should show
any existing well(s) on the plans and inform us regarding their
proposed use. Please contact Mr. Zozaya on extension 379 for
information about well permits.

Dear Mr. Martinez:
Please be advised that the Planning Commission at the regularly
scheduled meeting of September 20, 1977, adopted Resolution #1638,
giving conditional approval to your request for a Use Permit to
construct a skateboard park as provided by Section 21.64 of the
Campbell Municipal Code, said park to be located on property known
as 2885 Winchester Boulevard, in a C-H Zoning District. The conditions
for this approval are attached.
This Use Permit will become effective on September 30, 1977, assuming
no appeal is made to City Counci 1.

A. All parking and driveway areas to be developed in compliance with
Section 21.50 of the Campbell Municpal Code. All parking spaces to
be provided with appropriate concrete curbs or bumper guards.
B. Underground uti lities to be provided as required by Section 20.16.070
of the Campbell Municipal Code.
C. Plans submitted to the Building Department for plan check shall indicate
clearly the location of all connections for underground utilities,
including water, sewer, electric, telephone and television cables, etc.
D. Sign application to be submitted in accordance with provisions of the
sign ordinance for all signs. No sign to be installed unti 1 application
is approved and permit issued by the Bui lding Department.
E. Ordinance No. 782 of the Campbell Municipal Code stipulates that any
contract for the collection and disposal of refuse, garbage, wet garbage,
and rubbish produced within the limits of the City of Campbell shall be
made with Green Valley Disposal Company. This requirement applies to
all single family dwellings, multiple apartment units, to all commercial,
business, industrial, manufacturing, and construction establishments.
F. Trash container(s) of a size and quantity necessary to serve the development
shall be located in areas(s) approved by the Fire Department. Unless other-
wise noted, enclosure(s) shall consist of a concrete floor surrounding by
a solid wall or fence and have self-closing doors of a size specified by
the Fire Department. All enclosures to be constructed at grade level.
G. Applicant shall meet State requirements for the handicapped.

RESOLUTION NO. 1638
PLANNING COMMISSION
CITY OF CAMPBELL, CALIFORNIA
After notification and public hearing as specified by law on the application
of Michael R. Martinez for a use permit to construct a skateboard park as
provied by Section 21.64 of the Campbell Municipal Code, said park to be
located on property known as 2885 Winchester Blvd. in a C-H Zoning District,
as per application fi led in the office of the Planning Department on
August 30, 1977, and after presentation by the Planning Director, proponents,
and opponents, the hearing was closed.
After due consideration of all evidence presented, the Planning
Commission did find as follows:
1. That the establishment, maintenance, and operation of the
proposed use will not be detrimental to the health, safety,
peace, morals, confort or general welfare of persons
residing or working the neighborhood of such use, or be
detrimental or injurious to property and improvements in
the neighborhood or the general welfare of the City.
Based on the above findings, the Planning Commission does hereby
grant the requested use permit subject to the following conditions:
1. Landscape plan indicating type of plant material, ,location of
hose bibs, or sprinkler system and type of fencing to be
submitted for approval of the Planning Director at time of
application for building permit.
2. On site lighting to be approved by the Department of Public Works.
3. Landscaping shall be maintained in accordance with the approved
landscape plan.
4. Faithful performance bond in the amount of $5,000 to be posed to
insure landscaping, fencing and striping of parking areas within
three (3) months of completion of construction, or applicant
may file written agreement to complete landscaping, fencing and
striping of parking area prior to final Building Department clearance.
5. No public address or exterior music system.
6. Applicant to submit a report by an acoustical consultant: Certifying
that adequate sound attenuation will be provided for residents around
the project from noise generated by this use.
The applicant is notified as part of this application that he is required to meet
the following conditions in accordance with Ordinances of the City of Campbell.
