Bascom Avenue - Cake Appliances Dear Ms. Sugono: The Campbell Planning Division has reviewed and approved your sign application (PLN2003-00118) for a new wall sign located at 3483 S. Bascom Avenue. The new wall sign is 20 square feet in area and consists of illuminated individual multi- colored letters reading "cake" and non-illuminated individual blue letters reading "appliances". This sign permit is conditionally approved subject to the following conditions of approval: 1. The applicant shall obtain any necessary bui!ding permits from the' Building Division prior to sign installation. The proposed sign shall be fabricated and installed per the approved plans stamped as approved by the Planning Division on September 5, 2003. This sign permit shall expire six months from the date of approval unless the sign has been erected. Bascom Avenue - Cake Appliances Dear Ms. Sugono: The Planning Division has reviewed your Sign Permit application for a new wall sign located at 3483 S. Bascom Avenue. The Sign Ordinance allows each business within a commercial shopping center one square foot of sign area for each linear foot of business frontage. No sign shall be greater than fifty square feet and each business shall be allowed a minimum of twenty square feet. The plans that were submitted indicate that the frontage for this business is 20 feet and the proposed sign is 32 square feet. Therefore, the propose sign is 12 square feet over the allowable sign area of 20 square feet. Your application has been deemed incomplete. In order to deem your application complete and approve the Sign Permit, revised plans must be submitted that show a reduction in the size of the proposed sign to a maximum of 20 square feet.
