Dear Ms. Fierro: RE: Review of the City of Campbell's Adopted Housing Element Thank you for submitting Campbell's adopted housing element, adopted November 20, 2001 and received for our review on December 10,2001.. As you know, we are required to review adopted housing elements and report our findings to the locality pursuant to Government Code Section 65585(h). ;.. We are pleased to find Campbell's adopted housing element in full compliance with State housing element law (Article 10.6 of the government Code). We commend the City for its efforts to promote mixed-use and infill housing in commercial areas and for its on going collaboration with affordable housing developers. The City should continue monitoring the policies and programs contained in the element and if necessary augment development and land-use incentives to ensure its successful implementation. We thank Mr.Geoff Bradley, Campbell's Senior Planner, and the Community Development staff for arranging a tour of the City's housing sites and for their cooperation during the course of our review.
