Dear Ms. Campos:
Thank you for your submittal of a Fence Exception application for a new fence located at the
above referenced location. The Fence Exception provides for a new seven-foot, four-inch tall
wood fence, where a six-foot fence is allowed. A letter of consent was signed by the adjacent
affected property owner at 850 Capri Drive and received by the Planning Division on August
24, 2006.
The Community Development Director has determined that the requested Fence Exception:
1. Will not impair vehicular or pedestrian safety;
2. Will result in a more desirable site layout;
3. Will not be detrimental to the health, safety, peace, morals, comfort or general welfare of
persons residing or working in the neighborhood of the change; and
4. Will not be detrimental or injurious to property and improvements in the neighborhood or
to the general welfare of the City.
Therefore, your request for a Fence Exception has been approved, subject to the following
conditions of approval:
1. The development of the project shall substantially conform to the plans stamped as
approved on August 28, 2006. Any modifications to the approved plans shall be reviewed
and approved by the Director.
2. The applicant shall obtain a Building Permit from the Campbell Building Division prior to
installation of the fence.

Re: Fence Exception Consent Form
This is a letter of request for a fence exception at 819 and 835 Chapman Dr., Campbell,
Ca 95008. We are the property owners of both properties and are requesting the
exception for the following reasons:
There is a swimming pool at 819 Chapman Drive, and we want to take an extra
precaution because of the school.
The fence does not affect any other property owner and the school does not object to the
building of the upgraded fence.
Please contact us if you have any questions.
