Dear Ms. Underbrink:
Thank you for your submittal of a Fence Exception application for a replacement fence located at 149
Cherry Lane. The Fence Exception provides for a seven-foot high fence located along both sides (east and
west) property lines, where a six-foot high fence is typically permitted.
The Community Development Director has determined that the requested Fence Exception:
1. Will not impair vehicular or pedestrian safety;
2. Will result in a more desirable site layout from a maintenance and use standpoint;
3. Will not be detrimental to the health, safety, peace, morals, comfort or general welfare of the City; and
4. Will not be detrimental or injurious to property and improvements in the neighborhood or to the general
welfare of the City.
Therefore, your request for a Fence Exception has been approved. The Fence Exception is granted subject to
the following conditions of approval:
1. The development of the project shall substantially conform to the project plans dated as received by the
Planning Division on November 21, 2006, for a six-foot high good neighbor style wood fence with one-
foot oflattice on top for a total fence height of seven-feet.
2. The applicant shall obtain a building permit from the Campbell Building Division, prior to installation of
the fence.

December 26. 2006. Any comments regarding this application shall be submitted in writing to the
Planning Division before 5:00 p.m. on December 26. 2006, as a decision will be rendered after this
date.
Decisions by the Community Development Director are final in 10 calendar days following the date of
approval, unless an appeal is received in writing at the City of Campbell City Clerk's Office, 70 N.
First Street, Campbell, prior to the end of the appeal period. A written appeal must be accompanied
with the required $100 appeal filing fee.
