The Fence Exception provides for a seven-foot high fence located along both sides (east and west) property lines, where a six-foot high fence is typically permitted. The Community Development Director has determined that the requested Fence Exception: 1. Will not impair vehicular or pedestrian safety; 2. Will result in a more desirable site layout from a maintenance and use standpoint; 3. Will not be detrimental to the health, safety, peace, morals, comfort or general welfare of the City; and 4. Will not be detrimental or injurious to property and improvements in the neighborhood or to the general welfare of the City. Therefore, your request for a Fence Exception has been approved. The Fence Exception is granted subject to the following conditions of approval: 1. The development of the project shall substantially conform to the project plans dated as received by the Planning Division on November 21, 2006, for a six-foot high good neighbor style wood fence with one- foot oflattice on top for a total fence height of seven-feet. 2.
