Dear Ms. Robinson:
The Community Development Director on April 28, 2006, has approved your Tree Removal
Permit application to remove twenty-six trees within the Cambridge Park Homeowner
Association as described in your request dated April 17, 2006, subject to the following
condition of approval for tree replacement:
1. The applicant is required to plant twenty-six 24-inch box trees as specified by the
approved replanting plan on or before June 8, 2006.
The Tree Removal Permit has been approved based upon the City's determination, with
supporting recommendation by a Certified Arborist, that the trees are conflicting with
utilities or are in poor health thus warranting their removal.
This approval is final in 10 calendar days, unless an appeal is received in writing at the City
of Campbell City Clerk's Office, 70 N. First Street, Campbell, on or before Mondav. Mav
8.2006 at 5:00 p.m. A written appeal must be accompanied with payment for appealing the
approval. The trees may not be removed until after the 10-day appeal period has passed and
no appeals have been received.

NOTICE OF TREE REMOVAL PERMIT
APPLICATION
Notice is hereby given that the Community Development Director of the City of Campbell has
received an application for a Tree Removal Permit (PLN2006-25) for the removal of twenty-six
trees located within the Cambridge Homeowner Association's development in the front yard
areas along Cherry Blossom, Apple Blossom and Plum Blossom Lane homes and the common
area on private properties in the P.D (Planned Development/Low-Medium Density Residential)
Zoning District (see map on reverse).
The removals of these trees are recommended by a certified arborist due to potential conflict with
on-site utilities, poor tree health conditions or improper planting levels. A Replanting Plant has
been submitted that requires that each of these trees shall be replaced with twenty-four inched
boxed size trees with less aggressive growth characteristics.
Any comments regarding this application must be submitted to the Community Development
Department before 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. April 28. 2006. Questions or comments regarding

Dear Ms. Robinson:
The Planning Division has reviewed your Tree Removal Pennit application filed on March
17,2006, to remove thirty-seven trees on the referenced property.
Your application has been deemed incomplete. The following additional infonnation is
required to complete your application:
1. Apolication fee: Please submit an application fee for the Tree Removal request.
2. Replacement Plan: Please provide a site plan which demonstrates the replacement of
these trees pursuant to the standards of the Tree Preservation Ordinance. The Tree
Preservation Ordinance requires replacement with 24" boxed tree sizes. Additionally, the
originally approval landscape plan required the installation of twenty-four inch box sized
street trees.
A review by City staff has recommended that eleven of the thirty-seven trees proposed for
removal are not supported. The following tree removals are not supported:
Tree Nos. 1,2,5,26,27,28,32,80,91,99 and 100.
