The Community Development Director has approved your Tree Removal Permit application
(PLN2006-118) for the removal of one Coast Live Oak tree with a diameter of 23-inches located
in the rear yard on property at 746 Emory Avenue in the R-I-I0 (Single-Family) Zoning District,
subject to the following condition of approval for tree replacement:
1. The applicant is required to plant one (1) 24-inch box tree (Camphor or Raywood Ash) in
the location specified by the approved replanting plan on or before November 23, 2006.
The Tree Removal Permit has been approved based upon the City's determination, with a
supporting recommendation by a Certified Arborist, that the tree is diseased. It has been
determined that this situation cannot be controlled or remedied through the reasonable
relocation or modification of the utility services.
This approval is final in 10 calendar days, unless an appeal is received in writing at the City of
Campbell City Clerk's Office, 70 N. First Street, Campbell, on or before Thursday, November 2,
2006 at 5:00 p.m. A written appeal must be accompanied with a $100 appeal filing fee. If you

NOT'CE OF TREE REMOVAL PERMIT
APPLICATION
Notice is hereby given that the Community Development Director of the City of
Campbell has received an application for a Tree Removal Permit (PLN2006-119) for the
removal of one Oak tree with a diameter of 23-inches located in the rear yard due to a
diseased condition (beetle infestation) of ;:,roperty located at 746 Emory Avenue in the
R-1-16 (Single-Family Residential) Zoning District (see map on reverse). The property
owner will be required ~o replace the tree with a twenty-four inch boxed Camphor or
Raywood Ash tree.
The 10 day comment period for this application shall begin on October 10, 2006 and
end on October 20, 2006. Any comments regarding this application shall be submitted
in writing to the Planning Division before 5'00 p.m. on Fridav. October 20. 2006 as a
decision will be rendered after this date.
Decisions by the Community Development Director are final in 10 calendar days
following the date of approval, unless an appeal is received in writing at the City of
Campbell City Clerk's Office, 70 N. First Street, Campb6;1, prior to the end of the appeal
period. A written appeal must be accompanied with the required $100 appeal filing fee.
