Tree Removal Permit - 2005December 16, 2005 Mr. John Mathios 1716 Ensenada Dr. Campbell, CA 95008 Re: Tree Removal Permit Application File No: PLN2005-00176 -1716 Ensenada Dr. Dear Mr. Mathios: The Community Development Director has approved your application for a Tree Removal Permit to remove one (1) Deodar Cedar tree with a diameter of 30-inches located in the front yard of property at 1716 Ensenada Drive in the R-1-6 (Single-Family Residential) Zoning District, subject to the following condition of approval for tree replacement: 1. The applicant is required to plant one (l) 36-inch Japanese Maple tree in the location specified by the approved replanting plan on or before January 16, 2006. The Tree Removal Permit has been approved based upon the City's determination, with a supporting recommendation by a Certified Arborist, that the tree roots are causing excessive damage to the property and is overhanging the residence and cannot be controlled or remedied through preservation and/or preventative procedures and practices that the public health or safety requires its removal. This approval is final in 10 calendar days, unless an appeal is received in writing at the City of Campbell City Clerk's Office, 70 N. First Street, Campbell, on or before Mondav. December 26. 2005 at 5:00 p.m. A written appeal must be accompanied with payment for appealing the approval. The tree may not be removed until after the 10-day appeal period has passed and no appeals have been received. TOD 408.866.2790 December 1, 2005 NOTICE OF TREE REMOVAL PERMIT APPLICATION Notice is hereby given that the Community Development Director of the City of Campbell has received an application for a Tree Removal Permit (PLN2005-176) to remove one (1) Deodar Cedar Tree with a diameter of 30-inches located in the front yard of property located at 1716 Ensenada Drive in the R-I-6 (Single-family Residential) Zoning District (see map on reverse). The property owner is requesting approval to remove the tree in that it is lending towards the residence wherein approximately 30 percent of the branches are overhanging the roof. The Community Development Director will be rendering a decision after 10 calendar days from the date of this notice. Any comments regarding this application must be submitted to the Community Development Department before 5:00 p.m. on Friday, December 11, 2005.
