Dear Mr. Kim:
The Planning Division has conditionally approved your sign application (PLN2007-05) for a new wall
sign located at the above referenced address. The new sign is 31.8 square feet and consists of illuminated
individual letters read 'SA TO' and a Japanese Restaurant logo along a business frontage of 32 linear feet.
This Sign Permit has been approved subject to the following conditions of approval:
1. The applicant shall obtain any necessary building permits from the Building Division prior to sign
installation.
2. The proposed wall sign shall be fabricated and installed per the plans dated as approved on
January 17, 2007.
3. The signs shall be maintained in good condition at all times and shall be repaired or replaced as
necessary.
The submitted plan also indicated the installation of two boxed awning. These awning are not considered
architecturally compatible with the building and therefore have not been approved. Please consider
alternative awning designs similar to the other awnings on the building.
