Dear Mr. and Mrs. Brandt:
The Conrrnrrunity Developnrrent Director has approved your Tree Renrroval PerD1it application
(PLN2006-117) for the renrroval of one Deodara Cedar tree with a dianrreter of 40-inches located in
the front yard on property at 204 Avenue in the R-1-6-S (Single3-FaD1ily) Zoning District, subject to
the following condition of approval for tree replacenrrent:
1. The applicant is required to plant one (1) 36-inch box Chinese Pistache tree in the location
specified by the approved replanting plan on or before October 20, 2006.
The Tree Renrroval PerD1it has been approved based upon the City's determination, with a
supporting recoD1D1endation by a Certified Arborist, that the tree is interfering with overhead
utility lines. Due to its location directly below the utility lines, the tree has been topped resulting
in poor structural integrity of its branches. It has been deterD1ined that this situation cannot be
controlled or renrredied through the reasonable relocation or modification of the utility services.
This approval is final in 10 calendar days, unless an appeal is received in writing at the City of
Canrrpbell City Clerk's Office, 70 N. First Street, Campbell, on or before Wednesday, September 20,
2006 at 5:00 p.nrr. A written appeal nrrust be acconrrpanied with a $100 appeal filing fee. If you have

NOTICE OF TREE REMOVAL PERMIT
APPLICATION
Notice is hereby given that the Community Development Director of the City of
Campbell has received an application for a Tree Removal Permit (PLN2006-117) for the
removal of one Deodara Cedar tree with a diameter of 40-inches located in the front
yard on property at 204 Hardy Avenue in the R-1-6-S (Single-Family Residential)
Zoning District (see map on reverse).
The 10 day comment period for this application shall begin on August 30,2006 and end
on September 8, 2006. Any comments regarding this application shall be submitted in
writing to the Planning Division before 5:00 p.m. on Friday. September 8. 2006 as a
decision will be rendered after this date.
Decisions by the Community Development Director are final in 10 calendar days
following the date of approval, unless an appeal is received in writing at the City of
Campbell City Clerk's Office, 70 N. First Street, Campbell, prior to the end of the appeal
period. A written appeal must be accompanied with the required $100 appeal filing fee.
