Tree Removal Permit - 2005November 16, 2005 Mr. Mark Tiernan Penco Property Management 302 Silvera Street Milpitas, CA 95035 Re: Tree Removal Permit File No: PLN2005-00158 201 Michael Drive Dear Mr. Tiernan: The Community Development Director has approved your Tree Removal Permit application to remove three American sweetgum trees with a DSH (diameter standard height) of l7.6-inches, l4-inches, and 14.3 inches, one Southern magnolia tree with a DSH of 18.2-inches, two Yew pines with a DSH of 13.7-inches and 14.5-inches, one Mayten with a DSH of 12.0-inches and one Myoporum with a DSH of 18.4-inches, located within the common area on property at 201 Michael Drive in the R-3 (Multiple Family Residential) Zoning District, subject to the following condition of approval for tree replacement: 1. The applicant is required to plant six 24-inch box Jacaranda trees, one 24-inch box Japanese Maple tree, three 24-inch box Chinese Flame trees, and two 24-inch box Crape Myrtle trees in the location specified by the approved replanting plan on or before December 28,2005. The Tree Removal Permit has been approved based upon the City's determination, with a supporting recommendation by a Certified Arborist, that the trees are damaging PG&E utilities and sidewalks located on the project site and cannot be controlled or remedied through reasonable relocation or modification of the utility services and cannot be controlled or remedied through the reasonable preservation and/or preventative procedures and practices such that the public health or safety requires its removal. This approval is final in 10 calendar days, unless an appeal is received in writing at the City of Campbell City Clerk's Office, 70 N. First Street, Campbell, on or before Mondav.
