Tree Removal Permit - 2006August 1, 2006 Mrs. Alan Wheeler 97 E. Rincon Avenue Campbell, CA 95008 Re: Tree Removal Permit File No: PLN2006-98 97 E. Rincon Avenue Dear Mrs. Wheeler: The Community Development Director has approved your Tree Removal Permit application (PLN2006- 98) for the removal of one Redwood tree with a diameter of 17-inches located in the front yard of property located at 97 E. Rincon Avenue in the P-D (Planned Development) Zoning District, subject to the following condition of approval for tree replacement: 1. The applicant is required to plant one (1) 24-inch box Japanese Maple tree in the location specified by the approved replanting plan on or before September 11, 2006. The Tree Removal Permit has been approved based upon the City's determination, with a supporting recommendation by a Certified Arborist, that the tree is interfering with overhead utility lines and has to be continually topped due to its location directly below the lines. It has been determined that this situation cannot be controlled or remedied through the reasonable relocation or modification of the utility servIces. This approval is final in 10 calendar days, unless an appeal is received in writing at the City of Campbell City Clerk's Office, 70 N. First Street, Campbell, on or before Friday, August 11, 2006 at 5:00 p.m. A written appeal must be accompanied with a $100 appeal filing fee.
