Dear Applicant:
The Planning Division has conditionally approved your sign application (PLN2008-66) for one wall sign
and one freestanding sign on property located at 1855 S. Bascom Avenue and found that the proposed
signs are consistent with the Sign Ordinance. The new channel letter wall sign is 49.8 square feet in
area with orange aluminum letters and reads "Hooters ". The wall sign is located on the east
elevation facing S. Bascom Avenue. The freestanding sign is 50 square feet with a maximum
height of 12 feet and shall not overhang any portion of the public right-of-way. The freestanding
sign is located on the north east comer of the property at the main entrance of the parking lot and
faces north and south.
This Sign Permit has been approved subject to the following Conditions of Approval:
1. The applicant shall obtain any necessary building permits from the Building Division prior to sign
installation.
2. The proposed wall sign and freestanding sign shall be fabricated and installed per the approved plans
dated as approved on May 8, 2008.
3. The sign shall be maintained in good condition at all times and shall be repaired or replaced
as necessary.
