Thank you for your submittal of a preliminary application for a proposed trash enclosure at the above
referenced address. The subject property is presently zoned PD (Planned Development) and is designated
as CommerciaUProfessional Office/Residential (up to 27 units per gross acre) on the City's General Plan
Land Use Map.
The Planning Division has completed the review of your preliminary application and has the following
comments regarding your proposal:
Enclosure Requirements: Your application proposes the use of chain-link fencing for the refuse and
recycling enclosure. Pursuant to Section 21.18.110 of the Campbell Municipal Code, a refuse and
recycling storage area shall consist of a concrete floor at least six inches in depth, surrounded by a
minimum 6-foot high masonry wall and having a solid gate. Staff recommends the design be altered to
meet these requirements.
