Dear Ms. Chamberlin,
Thank you for your submittal of a Fence Exception application for a new wood fence located
along the rear property line. Your request has been approved. The Fence Exception provides for
a new 8 foot wood fence along the rear property line.
The Community Development Director has determined that the requested Fence Exception is
acceptable in that it:
1. Will not impair vehicular or pedestrian safety;
2. Will result in a more desirable site layout;
3. Will not be detrimental to the health, safety, peace, morals, comfort or general welfare of
persons residing or working in the neighborhood of the change; and
4. Will not be detrimental or injurious to property and improvements in the neighborhood or
to the general welfare of the City.
Therefore, your request for a Fence Exception has been approved, subject to the following
conditions of approval:
1. The fencing shall substantially conform to the plans stamped as approved on March 17,
2008.
2. The applicant shall obtain a Building Permit from the Campbell Building Division prior to
installation of the fence.

Notice is hereby given that the Community Development Director of the City of Campbell has
received an application for a Fence Exception
File No.: PLN2008-36
Applicant: Breanna Chamberlin on behalf of David and Lisa Beckman
Project Address: 849 Kenneth Avenue
Zoning District: R-1-10 (Single-family residentia1,10,000 sq. ft. min. lot size)
Project Description: Fence exception requested to construct an eight fence along the
rear property line
The ten day comment period for this application shall begin on March 6, 2008 and end on
March 16, 2008. Any comments regarding this application shall be submitted in writing to the
Planning Division before 5:00 p.m. on March 16, 2008 as a decision will be rendered after this
date. Plans and letter of request are available for public review at the Planning Division Office.
Decisions by the Community Development Director are final in 10 calendar days following the
date of approval, unless an appeal is received in writing at the City of Campbell City Clerk's
Office, 70 N. First Street, Campbell, prior to the end of the appeal period. A written appeal
must be accompanied with the required $100 appeal filing fee.
