Tree Removal Permit - 2007September 10, 2007 Sam & Karen Mosqueda 59 Palomar Real Campbell, CA 95008 Re: Tree Removal Permit File No: PLN2007-132 99 La Paz, Campbell, CA 95008 Dear Mr. & Mrs. Mosqueda: The Community Development Director has conditionally approved your Tree Removal Permit application (PLN2007-132) to remove one (1) Liquid Amber, 24 inches in diameter, as shown on the site plan submitted on August 27, 2007, in the rear yard of the property at 99 La Paz. Your request has been approved subject to the following conditions: 1. The applicant shall plant one 24 inch box Carolina Laurel Cherry or Arbutus "Marina" on the subject property on or before October 20, 2007. The Tree Removal Permit has been approved based upon the City's determination, with a supporting recommendation by a Certified Arborist, that the tree is in poor condition and is causing property damage, including damage to a pedestrian walkway. It has been determined that this. situation cannot be controlled or remedied through tree trimming. This approval is final in 10 calendar days, unless an appeal is received in writing at the City of Campbell City Clerk's Office, 70 N. First Street, Campbell, on or before Thursday, September 17. 2007 at 5:00 p.m. A written appeal must be accompanied with a $100 appeal filing fee. The property owner proposes to install one replacement tree on the subject site. The 10 day comment period for this application shall begin on August 29, 2007 and end on September 7, 2007. Any comments regarding this application shall be submitted in writing to the Planning Division before 5:00 p.m. on Friday September 7, 2007 as a decision will be rendered after this date. Decisions by the Community Development Director are final in 10 calendar days following the date of approval, unless an appeal is received in writing at the City of Campbell City Clerk's Office, 70 N. First Street, Campbell, prior to the end of the appeal period. A written appeal must be accompanied with the required $100 appeal filing fee.
