The Planning Division has reviewed your sign application for a new Starbucks wall sign on a
Safeway store at the above referenced address. Your application has been deemed incomplete.
The existing Safeway store currently has an application into the City for facade improvements.
All of the existing signage for the store should be reviewed and updated as part of the facade
improvements. Staff recommends that you coordinate with the project architect, Eric Euren at
CSHQA, to present a new signage package as part of the facade improvements. Staff is
supportive of the new Starbucks sign as part of a new signage package.
