Your request has been approved subject to the following condition: 1. The applicant shall plant one (1) 24 inch box Coast Redwood, as indicated on the submitted replanting plan, on or before November 24, 2008. The Tree Removal Permit has been approved based upon the City's determination, with a supporting recommendation by a Certified Arborist, that the tree risks damaging adjacent structures. It has been determined that this situation cannot be controlled or remedied through tree trimming or pruning, as this would increase the failure potential of the trees. This approval is final in 10 calendar days of the Community Development Director's decision, unless an appeal is received in writing at the City of Campbell City Clerk's Office, on or before Friday, October 24, 2008. If an appeal is received, you will be immediately notified of its receipt. Otherwise, you may remove the subject tree at the close of the 10 day appeal period. The property owner proposes to install one 24-inch box replacement Redwood tree in the front yard. The 10 day comment period for this application will begin on October 3, 2008 and end on October 13, 2008. Any comments regarding this application shall be submitted in writing to the Planning Division before 5:00 p.m. on Monday October 13, 2008 as a decision will be rendered after this date. Decisions by the Community Development Director are final in 10 calendar days following the date of approval, unless an appeal is received in writing at the City of Campbell City Clerk's Office, 70 N.
