Dear Ms. Maida,
Thank you for your submittal of a Fence Exception application for an as-built wooden fence
located along your rear and side yard property lines. Your request has been approved.
The Community Development Director has determined that the requested Fence Exception as
modified:
1. Will not impair vehicular or pedestrian safety;
2. Will result in a more desirable site layout;
3. Will not be detrimental to the health, safety, peace, morals, comfort or general welfare of
persons residing or working in the neighborhood of the change; and
4. Will not be detrimental or injurious to property and improvements in the neighborhood or
to the general welfare of the City.
Therefore, your request for a Fence Exception has been approved, subject to the following
modification and conditions of approval:
1. The development of the project shall substantially conform to the plans stamped as
approved on November 6, 2007.
2. The applicant shall obtain a Building Permit from the Campbell Building Division prior to
installation of any new fencing.
Decisions by the Community Development Director are final in 10 calendar days following the
date of approval, unless an appeal is received in writing at the City of Campbell City Clerk's
Office, 70 N. First Street, Campbell, prior to the end of the appeal period. A written appeal
must be accompanied with the required $100 appeal filing fee.

Notice is hereby given that the Community Development Director of the City of Campbell has
received an application for a Fence Exception
File No.: PLN2007-159
Applicant: Kathleen Maida
Project Address: 1135 Ridgeley Drive
Zoning District: R-1-6 (Single-family residential, 6,000 sq. ft. min. lot size)
Project Description: Fence exception requested to legalize rear and side yard fencing.
The fencing includes as-built 8 foot high solid rear and left side
yard fencing and an as-built 8 foot fence (6 foot solid fence with 2
feet of lattice).
The ten day comment period for this application shall begin on October 24, 2007 and end on
November 3, 2007. Any comments regarding this application shall be submitted in writing to
the Planning Division before 5:00 p.m. on November 3, 2007 as a decision will be rendered after
this date. Plans and letter of request are available for public review at the Planning Division
Office.
