Dear applicant:
The Community Development Director on January 2, 2007, approved your Tree Removal
Permit application (PLN2006-183) for the removal of one Pepper tree with a diameter of 16-
inches located in the front yard on property at 236 W. Rincon Avenue, Unit A, in the P-D
(Planned Development) Zoning District, subject to the following condition of approval for tree
replacement:
1. T`he applicant is required to plant one (1) 24-inch box tree in the location specified by the
property owner or in the common area of the development, subject to approval of the
homeowners association. Please submit a replanting plan specifying the location and tree
type. The replacement tree shall replanted on or before February 15, 2007.
The Tree Removal Permit has been approved based upon the City's determination, with a
supporting recommendation by a Certified Arborist, that the tree is causing property damage
due to its location and tree type. It has been determined that this situation cannot be controlled
or remedied through tree trimming.
This approval is final in 10 calendar days following this decision. If you have any questions

NOTICE OF TREE REMOVAL PERMIT
APPLICATION
Notice is hereby given that the Community Development Director of the City of
Campbell has received an application for a Tree Removal Permit (PLN2006-183) for the
removal of one Pepper tree with a diameter of 16-inches located in the patio area of
property located at 236 W. Rincon Avenue, Unit A, in the R-2-S (Multiple-family
residential) Zoning District in that the subject tree is causing damage to the building and
fence (see map on reverse). The Tree Preservation Ordinance will require replacement
of this tree with atwenty-four inch boxed tree or contribution to an in lieu of planting tree
fund.
The 10 day comment period for this application shall begin on December 22, 2006 and
end on January 2, 2007. Any comments regarding this application shall be submitted in
writing to the Planning Division before 5:00 p.m. on Tvesday, January 2, 2007 as a
decision will be rendered after this date.
Decisions by the Community Development Director are final in 10 calendar days
following the date of approval, unless an appeal is received in writing at the City of
Campbell City Clerk's Office, 70 N. First Street, Campbell, prior to the end of the appeal
period. A written appeal must be accompanied with the required $100 appeal filing fee.
