Dear Mr. Maystrik:
The Community Development Director has approved your Tree Removal Permit application
(PLN2006-114) for the removal of one Evergreen Ash tree with a diameter of 30.5-inches located on
property at 275 Union Avenue in the R-3-S (Multiple-Family) Zoning District, subject to the
following condition of approval for tree replacement:
1. The applicant is required to plant one (1) 36-inch .box Evergreen Ash tree in the location
specified by the approved replanting plan on or before October 20, 2006.
The Tree Removal Permit has been approved based upon the City's determination, with a
supporting recommendation by a Certified Arborist, that the trees root system is causing damage
to the existing structure and hardscape, as well as causing potential damage to the foundation,
which cannot be controlled or remedied through the reasonable relocation or modification of the
structure.
This approval is final in 10 calendar days, unless an appeal is received in writing at the City of
Campbell City Clerk's Office, 70 N. First Street, Campbell, on or before Wednesday, September 20,
2006 at 5:00 p.m. A written appeal must be accompanied with a $100 appeal filing fee. If you have
any questions regarding this approval, please contact the Planning Division at (408) 866-2140.
Sincerely, ..
