Tree Removal Permit - 2006September 14, 2006 Mark and Kathy Carlson 231 Victor Avenue Campbell, CA 95008 Re: Tree Removal Permit File No: PLN2006-118 231 Victor Avenue Dear Mr. and Mrs. Carlson: The Community Development Director has approved your Tree Removal Permit application (PLN2006-118) for the removal of one Oak tree with a diameter of 25-inches located in the rear yard on property at 231 Victor Avenue in the R-1-6-S (Single-Family) Zoning District, subject to the following condition of approval for tree replacement: 1. The applicant is required to plant one (1) 24-inch box orange tree in the location specified by the approved replanting plan on or before October 21, 2006. The Tree Removal Permit has been approved based upon the City's determination, with a supporting recommendation by a Certified Arborist, that the tree is interfering with overhead utility lines. Due to its location directly below the utility lines. It has been determined that this situation cannot be controlled or remedied through the reasonable relocation or modification of the utility services. This approval is final in 10 calendar days, unless an appeal is received in writing at the City of Campbell City Clerk's Office, 70 N. First Street, Campbell, on or before Thursday, September 21, 2006 at 5:00 p.m. A written appeal must be accompanied with a $100 appeal filing fee. The 10 day comment period for this application shall begin on August 31, 2006 and end on September 11, 2006. Any comments regarding this application shall be submitted in writing to the Planning Division before 5:00 p.m. on Monday, September 11, 2006 as a decision will be rendered after this date. Decisions by the Community Development Director are final in 10 calendar days following the date of approval, unless an appeal is received in writing at the City of Campbell City Clerk's Office, 70 N. First Street, Campbell, prior to the end of the appeal period. A written appeal must be accompanied with the required $100 appeal filing fee.
