RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL MAKING
DETERAfINATIONS ANA APPROJING THE PROPOSED
ANNEXATION OF TERRITORY, DESIGNATED AS
DOVER 1982-1
TO THE CITY OF CADIPBF.I.L.
RESOLVED, by the City of Campbell of the County of Santa Clara, State
of California, that
WHEREAS, a petition for the proposed annexation in the County of Santa
Clara was heretofore filed by landowners and accepted for filing on
February 19, 1982 by the Executive Officer of the Local Agency
Formation Commission pursuant to Part 2 of Title 4, Division 2, commencing
with Section 35000, et seq. of the Government Code; and
WHEREAS, the Executive Officer of the Local Agency Formation Commission
pursuant to Government Code Section 54794, has reviewed this proposal and
prepared a report including his recommendations thereon, and has furnished
a copy of this report to each person entitled to a copy; and
WHEREAS, it appears to the satisfaction of the City of Campbell that all
owners of land included in said proposal consent to said proceeding; and
WHEREAS, the Local Agency Formation Commission on May 12, 1982
heard from the interested parties, considered the proposal and the report of
the Executive Officer, and considered the factors determined by the Commission
to be relevant to this proposal, including, but not limited to, factors '
specified in Government Code Section 54796; and
WHEREAS, the City of Campbell has reviewed and considered the negative
declaration,
NOW, THEREFORE, the City of Campbell does hereby resolve, determine,
and order as follows:
SECTION 1. The City of Campbell so certifies it has reviewed and
considered the negative declaration.
SECTION 2. The City of Campbell has determined that the project will
not have a significant effect on the environment.
SECTION 3. Subject to the terms and conditions hereinafter specified,
said proposal is approved.
SECTION 4. The Boundaries of the territory proposed to be annexed
as set forth in the proposal or as amended by condition, are
hereby approved as described in Exhibit "A", attached hereto
and made a part hereof. Said territory is found to be
uninhabited, and said territory is assigned the following
distinctive short form designation Dover 1982-1
SECTION 5. These proceedings of the City of Campbell are held without
notice and hearing, without an election, or both, pursuant
to Section 35221 of the Government Code.
SECTION 6. The City Clerk is hereby authorized to send certified copies
of this resolution to the Board of Supervisors of Santa
Clara County.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City of Campbell this 6th day of July
1982 by the following vote:

PROPOSED ANNEXATION
DOVER-1982-1
BEGINNING at the intersection of the centerline of Leigh Avenue
with the easterly prolongation of the northerly line of Picadilly
Place, as said avenue and place are shown upon that certain Map of
Tract No. 1115 filed in Book 42 of Maps at page 30 in the office of
County Recorder, County of Santa Clara, State of California;
THENCE, along a northerly line of said Tract No. 1115, said
northerly line also being in the existing Campbell city limits line as
established by Ordinance No. 30, Campbell "Lands of Benson and
Steindorf" Annexation, dated March 9, 1953, South 8g° 44' 00" West
373.98 feet to its intersection with an easterly line of said Tract
No. 1115;
THENCE, along said easterly line of Tract No. 1115 North 0° 11' 45"
West 552.79 feet to its intersection with the centerline of Hamilton
Avenue, as said Hamilton Avenue is shown upon that certain Record of
Survey filed in Book 352 of Maps at page 38 in the office of said County
Recorder, said centerline of Hamilton Avenue also being the existing San
Jose city limits line as established by Ordinance No. 9028, San Jose
Annexation Hamilton No. 24, dated June 19, 1961;
THENCE, leaving said Campbell city limits line and going along said
centerline of Hamilton Avenue North 8g° 40' 10" East 373.31 feet to the
centerline of Leigh Avenue, as said avenues are shown on the aforesaid
Record of Survey;
THENCE, continuing along the centerline of Hamilton Avenue as shown
upon that certain Record of Survey filed for record in Book 205 of Maps
at page 43, Santa Clara County Records, North 89° 55' 45" East 686.39
feet to the centerline of Phantom Avenue, as shown upon last said
Record of Survey;
THENCE, leaving said centerline of Hamilton Avenue South 239.67
feet along said centerline of Phantom Avenue;
THENCE, leaving last said centerline South 89° 55' 45" West 155.00
feet along a southerly line and its easterly prolongation of last said
Record of Survey, said southerly line being also the northerly line of
Lot 1 of Tract No. 1400, as shown upon that certain map of Tract No.
1400, as filed for record in Book 53 of Maps at page 40, Santa Clara
County records;

THENCE, South 419.94 feet along the westerly line of said Tract
No. 1400 to the southwest corner of said tract;
THENCE, South 89° 57' 15" West 531.39 feet along a southerly
line of said R.O.S. 2o5M43, said line being also a northerly line of
Tract No. 3o24,as shown upon that certain map of Tract No. 3024, as
filed for record in Book 137 of Maps at page 30, said County records,
and being also the existing Campbell city limits line as established by
Ordinance No. 386, "Cherry Woods Annexation 1962-2," dated June 11, 1962,
to the centerline of the aforesaid Leigh Avenue;
THENCE, North 106.30 feet along said centerline of Leigh Avenue
as shown upon said Record of Survey filed in Book 205 of Maps at page
43, to the POINT OF BEGINNING.
CONTAINING 13.641 acres, more or less.
