The annexation of the area known as Dover 89-01 is now complete. The
effective date of the annexation was August 23, 1989.
For your information, a map and legal description of the annexed area as
well as the addresses of the properties involved are attached.

CITY COUNCIL
CITY OF CAMPBELL, CALIFORNIA
BEING A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CAMPBELL INITIATING REORGANIZATION OF DESIGNATED
AREAS TO THE CITY OF CAMPBELL, PURSUANT TO THE CORTESE-KNOX
LOCAL GOVERNMENT REORGANIZATION ACT OF 1985 - DOVER 89-01.
SECTION ONE: APPLICATION FOR A CHANGE OF ORGANIZATION: This resolution
is a proposal made pursuant to the Cortese-Knox Local Government
Reorganization Act of 1985 (Government Code Section 56000 et.seq.), for a
change of organization, that being the annexation of the territories
described in the attached exhibits to the City of Campbell.
SECTION TWO: DESCRIPTION OF TERRITORY: The area proposed for annexation
to the City of Campbell is designated DOVER 89-01. A metes and bounds
descriptions and a map of the territories proposed to be annexed are
attached as Exhibit A and Exhibit B.
SECTION THREE: REASONS FOR ANNEXATION. The reasons for the proposed
annexation are that the territory proposed to be annexed:
(a) Is located with the Urban Service Area of the City of
Campbell.
(b) Is substantially developed.
(c) Is both receiving benefits from the City of Campbell and will
receive benefit from the annexation.
SECTION FOUR: LAFCO REVIEW: Pursuant to Section 56826(a) of the
Government Code, the Local Agency Formation Commission is not required to
review this proposed reorganization.
SECTION FIVE: CONDUCTING AUTHORITY: Pursuant to Section 56826(b) of the
Government Code, the City Council is designated to be the conducting
authority for the proposed reorganization.
SECTION SIX: PUBLIC HEARING: The City Council does hereby set 7:30 p.m.
Tuesday, May 2, 1989, in the City Hall Council Chambers, 70 N. First St.,
Campbell, California as the time and place for a public hearing to
consider the proposed annexation.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Campbell at the
regular meeting held on the 4th day of April 1989 by the following roll
call vote:
AYES: Councilmembers: ROTOWSRI, ASHWORTH, BURR, CONANT, WATSON
NOES: Councilmembers: NONE
ABSENT: Councilmembers: NONE '

At it's meeting of May 2, 1989, the City Council took action to approve
the annexation of the area known as Dover 89-01 to the City.
Attached for your use is a copy of the map and legal description of
the area. Street addresses are also included.
It is anticipated that the annexation will be final by June 1, 1989.

PROPOSEII ANNEXATION TO CITY OF CAMPBELL
DOVER 1989-1
BEGINNING at the intersection of the centerlines of Ham-
ilton Avenue and Phantom Avenue as shown on Record of Survey
filed in Book 205 of Maps at Page 43, Santa Clara County Records,
said point being the most northeasterly corner of existing
Campbell city limits as established by Resolution No. 6320,
City of Campbell, "Dover 1882-1", dated July 6, 1982;
THENCE along said centerline of Hamilton Avenue
N89o 55' 30"E 495.34 feet to the northerly prolongation of
the easterly lines of ZotS 26 and 28 of Tract No. 405, filed
in Book 13 of Maps at Page 43, Santa Clara County Records;
THENCE leaving said centerline and along said northerly
prolongation and along the easterly lines of Lots 26 and 28
of said Tract South 241.26 feet to the southeast corner of
said Zot 26 of said Tract;
THENCE along the Southerly line of said Lot 26, its west-
erly prolongation and along the southerly line of Lot 3 of
said Tract S89o 55' 30"~ 350.26 feet to the Southwest corner
of Said Zot 3;
THENCE along the easterly line of lands of Gerald Ni.

THENCE along the southerly line of said Pahl lands and
its westerly prolongation S89° 55' 30"W 145.08 feet to the
centerline of Phantom Avenue as said centerline is shown upon

Clara County Records;
TIiENCE along said centerline North 13.68 feet to the
most southeasterly corner of the hereinabove mentioned "Dover
1982-1" Annexation to the city of Campbell; thence continue
along the most easterly line of said Annexation also being
the centerline of Phantom Avenue North 239.67 feet to .the
