White Oaks 88-1RESOLUTION N0. 7589 BEING A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL APPROVING A REORGANIZATION OF CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY PURSUANT TO THE CORTESE- KNOX LOCAL GOVERNMENT REORGANIZATION ACT OF 1985, DESIGNATED AS WHITEOAKS 88-01. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CZTY OF CAMPBELL: 1. The unincorporated territory known as WHITEOAKS 88-01 is within the Urban Service Area of the City of Campbell as adopted by the Local Agency Formation Commission. 2. The County Surveyor has determined the boundaries of the proposal to be definite and certain, and in compliance with the road annexation policies of the Local Agency Formation Commission. 3. The proposed reorganization does not split lines of assessment or ownership. 4. The proposal does not create islands or areas in which it would be difficult to provide municipal services. 5. The proposed reorganization is consistent with the adopted General Plan of the City. 6. The teritory is contiguous to existing City limits, and is uninhabited. 7. The City has complied with all conditions imposed by the Local Agency Formation Commission for inclusion of the territory in the Urban Service Area of the City of Campbell. AND, BE IT FUTHER RESOLVED: 8. The City of Campbell is the Conducting Authority for these proceedings. 9. The proceedings for reorganization described in said Resolution is designated as WHITEOAKS 88-01. 10. The territory described in said Resolution is ordered reorganized to include the following changes of organization: a. Annexation to the City of Campbell. b. Annexation to the Campbell Lighting District. c. Detachment from Central Fire District. d. Detachment from County Lighting Service Area. 11. Land improvements within the territory annexed shall be liable for the general indebtedness of the City of Campbell existing at the time of annexation. Resolution No. -2- WHITEOAKS 88-01 12. A public hearing to consider the value of written protest was held by the City Council on July 5, 1988. The City Council does find as follows: a. Written protest filed and not withdrawn consists of the number of owners of land owning less than 50$ of the total assessed value of land within the affected territory. 13. The exterior boundaries of the territory annexed are all that real property situated in the County of Santa Clara, State of California, described in Exhibit A and illustrated in the map, Exhibit B, attached hereto.
