Dear Mr. Reulman,
On May 21, 2009, the Community Development Director conditionally approved your Tree Removal Permit
application (PLN2009-56) for the removal of two Chinese Elm trees located in front of 450 & 456 Hacienda
Drive.
Your request has been approved subject to the following Condition of Approval:
1. The applicant shall plant two replacement 24-inch box Chinese Pistache trees as indicated on the
submitted replanting plan, stamped as approved May 21 2009, on or before June 25, 2009.
The Tree Removal Permit has been approved based upon the City's determination, with a supporting
recommendation by a Certified Arborist that the tree is in danger of falling, posing a threat of damage to the
building's foundation, roof, walls and windows.
This approval is final in 10 calendar days, unless an appeal is received in writing at the City of Campbell City
Clerk's Office, 70 N. First Street, Campbell, on or before Friday, May 1, 2009, at 5:00 p.m. A written appeal must
be accompanied with a $105 appeal filing fee. If you have any questions regarding this approval, please contact

NOTICE OF TREE REMOVAL PERMIT
APPLICATION
Notice is hereby given that the Community Development Director of the City of
Campbell has received an application for a Tree Removal Permit (PLN2009-56) for the
removal of two Chinese Elm trees located in front of 450 & 456 Hacienda Avenue
(Morrison Lane) within the Hacienda Gardens HOA. The applicant has proposed to
plant two 24 inch box Chinese Pistache trees as replacements.
The 10 day comment period for this application will begin on May 12, 2009, and end on
May 18, 2009. Any comments regarding this application must be submitted in writing to
the Planning Division before 5:00 p.m. on May 21, 2009, as a decision will be rendered
after this time. Copies of the Arborist Report and project plans are available for review
from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Community Development Department, City Hall, 70
North First Street, Campbell, California.
Decisions by the Community Development Director are final in 10 calendar days
following the date of approval, unless an appeal is received in writing at the City of
Campbell City Clerk's Office, 70 N. First Street, Campbell, prior to the end of the appeal
period. A written appeal must be accompanied with the required $105 appeal filing fee.
