Dear Mr. Rodgers,
On July 14, 2009, the Community Development Director conditionally approved your Tree Removal Permit
application (PLN2009-90) for the removal of two Ash trees located in the center courtyard of 400 W. Campbell
Avenue.
Your request has been approved subject to the following Condition of Approval:
1. The applicant shall plant four replacement 24-inch box fruit trees (apple and peach) as indicated on the
submitted replanting plan, stamped as approved July 14, 2009, on or before August 14, 2009.
The Tree Removal Permit has been approved based upon the City's determination, with a supporting
recommendation by a Certified Arborist that the trees are disease and posing a threat of damage to the persons
and property.
This approval is final in 10 calendar days, unless an appeal is received in writing at the City of Campbell City
Clerk's Office, 70 N. First Street, Campbell, on or before at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, July 24, 2009. A written appeal
must be accompanied with a $105 appeal filing fee. If you have any questions regarding this approval, please

NOTICE OF TREE REMOVAL PERMIT
APPLICATION
Notice is hereby given that the Community Development Director of the City of
Campbell has received an application for a Tree Removal Permit (PLN2009-90) for the
removal of two Ash trees located within the interior courtyard of 400 W. Campbell
Avenue due to declining health. The applicant has proposed to plant four fruit trees (2
apple and 2 peach) along the westerly property line as replacements.
The 10 day comment period for this application will begin on July 2, 2009, and end on
July 12, 2009. Any comments regarding this application must be submitted in writing to
the Planning Division before 5:00 p.m. on July 12, 2009, as a decision will be rendered
after this time. Copies of the Arborist Report and project plans are available for review
from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Community Development Department, City Hall, 70
North First Street, Campbell, California.
Decisions by the Community Development Director are final in 10 calendar days
following the date of approval, unless an appeal is received in writing at the City of
Campbell City Clerk's Office, 70 N. First Street, Campbell, prior to the end of the appeal
period. A written appeal must be accompanied with the required $105 appeal filing fee.
