Re: Tree Removal Permit
File No: PLN2008-21 ~ 1711 Bucknall~Road
Dear Mr. Black:
The Community Development Director has conditionally approved your Tree Removal Permit
application (PLN2008-21) to remove one 21 inch Monterey Pine tree and one 43 inch Monterey Pine
Tree as shown on the site plan submitted on February 7, 2008, on property located at 1711 Bucknall
Road.
Your request has been approved subject to the following conditions:
1. The applicant shall plant one 36 inch box tree (Redwood) and one 24 inch box tree
(Redwood) on the subject property on or before April 30, 2008, consistent with the replanting
plan.
The Tree Removal Permit has been approved based upon the City's determination, with a supporting
recommendation by a Certified Arborist, that these trees have overgrown their respective planting
areas, and could cause associated property damage. It has been determined that this situation cannot be
controlled or remedied through tree trimming or pruning, as this would increase the failure potential of
the trees.
This approval is final in 10 calendar days, unless an appeal is received in writing at the City of
Campbell City Clerk's Office, 70 N. First Street, Campbell, on or before Monday, March 17, 2008 at
5:00 p.m. A written appeal must be accompanied with a $100 appeal filing fee. If you have any
questions regarding this approval, please contact the Planning Division at (408) 866-2140.
Sin rely,
Steve Prosser
