Re: Tree Removal Permit
File No: PLN2008-61 ~ 1805 S Winchester Blvd
Dear Ms. Gleason:
The Community Development Director has conditionally approved your Tree Removal Permit
application (PLN2008-61) to remove one 14.6 inch Magnolia grandiflora tree as shown on the site
plan submitted on Apri12, 2008, on property located at 1805 S Winchester Blvd.
Your request has been approved subject to the following conditions:
1. The applicant shall plant one 24 inch box tree (Crape Myrtle) on the subject property on or
before May 21, 2008, consistent with the replanting plan.
The Tree Removal Permit has been approved based upon the City's determination, with a supporting
recommendation by a Certified Arborist, that the tree has overgrown its planting area. It has been
determined that this situation cannot be controlled or remedied through tree trimming or pruning, as
this would increase the failure potential of the tree.
This approval is final in 10 calendar days, unless an appeal is received in writing at the City of
Campbell City Clerk's Office, 70 N. First Street, Campbell, on or before Thursday, May 1, 2008 at
5:00 p.m. A written appeal must be accompanied with a $100 appeal filing fee. If you have any
questions regarding this approval, please contact the Planning Division at (408) 866-2140.
Sincerely,
Julianna Mandler
Interim Planner
